Smash Weekly 47 - Online Smash Bros Tournament [MMG]
We're live with MMG's Smash Weekly, our weekly online Super Smash Bros Tournament with a $35 Prize Pool!
We've been fortunate enough to be hosting this events for a solid year now, and we're happy to still have some of the same gamers in our events that we had on day 1, enjoying the journey, and gitting gud.
Today's event is a 32 person bracket tournament in Super Smash Bros Wii U. The event will be live streamed on Dlive.io and Twitch.tv starting at 7pm ET(check-in time). The event will officially begin with tournament gameplay at 7:30pm ET. All times for this event are in Eastern Standard(NYC Time). Prizes are rewarded to players that place 1st-3rd, with sponsored $2 money matches(sponsored by yours truly) held for players that compete and fail to reach the top 3 in today's event.
About Today's Event
Today is our weekly event Smash Weekly, which is a 32 person max bracket, best of 3 (all tournament), 6 minute, 2 stock, double elimination, online tournament for Super Smash Bros Wii U. The event typically last 2.5 - 3 hours.
Signup for today's event can be done via MMG's official website, or by leaving your Twitch.tv name and NNID(Nintendo ID) below this post, along with the command !signup. Using this "!signup" command in the Twitch.tv stream will result in a link pop-up so that you can register via our website. If for some reason the event is full, or the store isn't working for you, request a sub in chat by typing "!sub" along with your Twitch.tv username and NNID(this can also be done in Twitch chat, without having to enter Twitch username).
Event Hype - Smash Weekly 47
This marks MMG's first Tournament in May of 2018, and we're excited to see what this month has in store. Historically, Summers have mean regional tournaments and grind time for Smash Bros players, and here at Money Match Gaming, we're more than happy to help usher in this Summer's competition.
Today were looking forward to hosting top MMG competitors, the likes of: RosaGetsFit (Georgia), LNIM(California), Hydrocity(Nebraska), having already signed-up and were sure to get more once the stream is live and time begins to wind down on the launch of Smash Weekly 47.
