It is really important to be able to sometimes say "no".
I couldn't agree more, most of the negative consequences we are facing today is as a result of not saying NO to certain things in the past, we ought to have said NO to. Saying NO, most times gives us the power to be in charge.

Interesting, I never looked at it from that perspective. Can you provide scenarios or examples? If a friend ask you to give him advice, would you say no? If a friend ask you to give him a ride and he has done a lot for you, would you say no? These are some scenarios that go through my head, but maybe I'm looking at it from a completely different perspective than you. Would love to hear from you, thanks!
If an unreliable friends asks you to lend them money.
If your boss wants you to work overtime and you don't want to.
