Hey everyone, I got the urge to play a game I haven't played in a very, very long time. I was looking for it on Steam but apparently its so old it doesn't exist there, but I found it to be playable on a website. XD

Let's get that nostalgic feeling going and play this a bit! :D

My live stream is at DLive

Why not heroes 3? are you that old :P ?

That is amazing!!............

I never could get a decent bit of info on strategy for this game, so maybe now I can pick up a few tips for how to beat the game. I recently reacquired the game via GOG, but that does me no good if I get frustrated from losing all the time. Which, honestly, is kinda weird, because I'm actually pretty good at TBS games. I actually have a full LP of Warlock: Master of the Arcane done at "Impossible" difficulty and with the hardest ending, which was really easy by comparison. Go figure, I guess.

Excellent post. Why couldn't the PS2 game Heroes Of Might and Magic - Quest for the Dragonbane staff have the features from this game (guilds, more mines (sulfur), etc...) - would have been awesome having a more complete version of this updated to the PS2.

I loved Heroes 2. I sucked at it but I put so much time into it. Then in Heroes 3, a friend of mine finally taught me how to play (he played on TOH heavily and had quite a bit of success). We put so much time into hot seat games. He'd usually get the better of me since my movement was so inefficient and he'd outdevelop me, but not always. I also loved Heroes 4, even if sometimes it feels like I'm one of the few that did. Sure, on release it was a mess and it took community support to balance it out (friggin vamps amirite), and the AI in skirmish mode was basically broken. But it was so interesting, so chock full of innovative ideas, and the campaigns were some of the best written anywhere. Plus, there was that EXTRAORDINARY soundtrack, even better than H2. Also it didn't hurt that in H4 I finally started winning regularly...

I think I also played the first version of Heroes of might and magic. Around that same time I also quit gaming.

Can anyone explain what's the fun to watch live streams from people that are gaming?

I refuse to accept there was anything other then Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven!

hahahaha awesome! I love this whole series! I wish they would make more of them. I remember playing everyone of them. I think my favorite was definitely Heroes of Might and Magic IV. I loved beefing up my hero and then just running around fighting creatures with just him. haha and it was always so satisfying when I would build my castle high enough to recruit dragons or titans, etc. So fun! Loved these games, thanks for the memories man!
