Mormon conference held virtually again due to pandemic

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will hold its signature conference Saturday in Utah without members in attendance as the pandemic continues to alter normal worship practices.
Church members will tune in from their homes to hear top leaders provide spiritual guidance as members try to navigate a difficult 2020.
The conference comes as U.S. members prepare for a contentious presidential election in November and live through a national reckoning over racial injustice. Members around the globe are grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic that has limited Sunday services, missionary work and temple worship.
