Yeah, that's not good news, But, we are aware now about bad security habits on exchanges. Anyway, the user is responsible for all it's own activities.
I don´t think that there is ever an exchange platform that is safe from hackers. This is a phenomenon that should be taken into consideration. Not even the FBI was safe from a 17 year-old schooler from Vienna and hacked their system a decade ago.
