Wow, there is another pundit saying the Premier League is already played. Incredible how these people are forgetting that still more than three quarters of the games need to be played. And especially the confrontations of the top teams agains eachother. I really hope for the Liverpool fans all these pundits are right, but don't sell the skin of the bear before he is shot, we say in Belgium.
Feet on the ground and play football. And we can talk in January, if Liverpool is still 8 points ahead, then maybe they are correct. But now? Anything can happen!

If Liverpool does has an advantage of 8 points, still nothing is guaranteed. They could still choke like they more or less did last season!
And like you write, 8 points is nothing. And the 2 points they got last week were just a gift from the ref and VAR. They will loose points rather sooner than later.

The pundit are not been fair, with just 8 matches played, we have seen teams leading with 10 points losing the title to another team.
