Rod Stewart and his huge Model Railway!
And you thought Model Railways weren't cool but just look at this amazing Model Railway that Sir Rod Stewart built!!
After the host of Radio 2 lunchtime show, Jeremy Vine suggested he may not have built it all himself, a furious Rod rang the programme to tell them he did! It has taken him over 25 years to get to this stage, building models and skyscrapers whilst on tour.
Its based on what he could see from his apartment in New York and is an incredible 3D cityscape which has taken 1000s of man hours and no doubt thousands of pounds to construct!
It helps of course when money isn't a problem and you have a huge attic in a mansion to accommodate this incredible 124 foot scene but nonetheless, it is an incredible achievement.
Featured in this month's Railway Modeller magazine, this is a shot in the arm for our great hobby!
