Surprise Findings

The findings revealed by this Sage research report has taken many people by surprise considering the fact that US has always been at the forefront of technology. It seems technology, innovation and digital skill adoption are not uniform among the companies in the US and there is a wide gap among them.

Fast Changing Technologies

One of the possible causes of this lack of adoption could be the ultra fast changes in technology and their attendant redundancy. Unless there is an urgent need for a particular technology, businesses may find it wiser to wait and see, rather than invest large sums of money only to find that 3 or 4 years down the road the technology has been superseded by a newer technology.
