Ron Rivera explains the 'big thing' behind Redskins releasing former All-Pro Josh Norman - CBSSports.com
Josh Norman signed a 5 year, $75 million contract in 2016, making him the highest paid cornerback in the NFL. Before that, he played with the Carolina Panthers.
This week, Norman is looking for a new team. He is going to be on this 3rd team in 9 years.
Norman was released by the Redskins this week. Ron Rivera explained the reason behind it on Sunday. He said the team is looking to get younger.
The Redskins have not been doing very well lately. They are on a couple decade run of futility.
