Great news to read, solar is renewable form of energy, it is safe, though it has high investment cost but the benefits far outweighs the disadvantages, so this will be a good example from Australia, other should take the bold step and help reduce carbon emission.

This is an interesting problem to have. I know first hand, electricity in Australia is very expensive. I think that the key solution to this "problem" (if that is what you want to call it) is battery storage. If household systems all produce electricity at the same time, and "overload" the system, diverting it to batteries makes so much sense to me. We have got the basics right, with a rapid growth of solar panels, now it comes down to storage. Maybe some rebates for installing new panels should be diverted off to subsidise battery packs like Tesla's powerwall. Very interesting article, thanks for sharing it.
That's a lot! Solar energy is already used by some here in the Philippines. But we are hoping the government will do something to produce such solar plants. The problem is some government officials are being paid by businessmen who produces electricity from other sources.
