This Tory leadership contest has been woefully light on policy. Boris Johnson talked (for a bit) about “cutting taxes”, while calling vaguely for “top-class infrastructure”. Jeremy Hunt, meanwhile, re-branded himself a Keynesian big spender, as well as a true Brexiteer. There’s been noise from all quarters, from various political parties, about creating a manifesto for “post-Brexit” Britain
