Journalists are increasingly using Google's G Suite for their work, raising ethics and privacy questions
Getting into something just because it's free isn't a smart choice. Even if you starts paying for a service like G Suite which starts from $6 USD / user / month you are only going to give more power to the beast. Google is probably the most privacy invasive octopus we have at the moment and there are journalists who are working on very important investigative reporting getting locked out of their own work for breaking some Terms of Service (which nobody really reads anyways)
Remember to create using software on local devices and e-mail them with Proton Mail or similar service. Google scans what you type and save into their "Free" services.
