I have heard of this from @joordanzzz and it is really sad to see racism and hatred in the sports or anywhere in the world and I think Mesut Ozil did the right thing by leaving the German team, even though it must have been one of the hardest things to do as a soccer player since everyone's dream is to play and win the World Cup, but I guess sometimes it is just not worth it.
