Well you probably can't tell from the photo but we finished our outdoor pallet wood table today.

After another hour plus of sanding we finally got the gaps and cracks filled and the table relatively flat.

We finished it with a couple coats of light walnut danish oil. The wood really soaked it up and we will have to oil it regularly. We didn't want to use more danish oil as we don't want it to get much darker.

We were thinking of using a polyurethane but decided against it because it is outdoors and we are also using it as a work bench.

We used it to build our folding wall table today so it saw a lot of use.

After today's work session we can tell the surface is going to get beat up so it will see a lot of oiling and sanding.
