DIY - Urban Gardening - Drying Our Basil Leaves - Honolulu Hawaii

We finally pulled out all the plants from our Basil pot. We have had a dozens of harvests from it and the stalks got thick and woody.

Another reason was that we want to try and control the spread of the Whiteflies.

Once the stalks changed the leaves got smaller. They still taste the same and have the same fragrant smell.

We still have a number of smaller plants but right now we have more Basil than we can use.

We really need to get the Whiteflies under control.
