📷 Big stingrays lying in a depth of around 30 meters!
Hey dear blog-readers,
in this article I will present you a collection of underwater photos I have taken of huge stingrays lying in a depth of around 30 meters!
My diving buddy Andrew found them while this dive, I was only looking for sharks (and I have found sharks, but this is another story...) and we dived down to them to take photos & and I think we have taken videos too.
Here is my little collection of the sleeping stingrays, we have seen in a depth of around 30 meters:
A little information, I have copied from a Reef Care Guide by the Crown & Champa Resorts:
Most stingrays have a barbed sting on the tail, which is used exclusevely for sel-defense. Stingrays do not aggressively attack humans, stings usually occur when one steps on a ray. The barb usually breaks of in the weound, and surgery may be required to remove the fragments.
