Yelling in the face of danger

Today I was studying and I heard something or someone walking near my closed door. I grabbed my baseball and when I opened the door I screamed a very loud

""ki ai"!!!

Do you ever yell when you feel in the presence of danger? Is this a primal instinct? #asa
