When you first visit https://steemit.com/ without logging in you will see a New 'Money talks.' Banner

I then searched about this on steemit and found this article by @sadekj " #discussion : Is "Money Talks" an Appropriate Slogan for Steemit?" https://steemit.com/discussion/@sadekj/discussion-is-money-talks-an-appropriate-slogan-for-steemit

When I google image searched 'steemit money talks' this photo by @ronel caught my eye.

At first I thought Money is a Great motivator for reaching out to new steemit users. However, after considering how quickly money can lead to greed, corruption, and ill intent I think that Money should Not be the tool or benefit promoted to bring in new users.

At the very least it should be promoted as cryptocurrecy reward or something that promotes the block-chain more and not so much money in the sense of physical currency which can be mistaken when seeing the word Money.

I like this ^above advertisement better because it promotes the ideals of steemit more.

What do you steemians think would be a good catch phrase or slogan to attract new steemit users?

I believe they should promote the power of community online community through; steemit challenges, contests, giveaways, meetups, and events. By showing that this is not just a way to make money or cryptocurrency but a way to reach and connect with others in ways Facebook, Instagram and other platforms do not allow.

This post is to further a #discussion started by @timcliff about what will be the big thing to bring in users on Steemit.

"Steemit talks, money motivates." lol, JK. Yeah I can see how this brings for a debate whether it's a good phrase or not. Honestly I am neutral in this. It's somewhat true but can also beg the question what kind of people it attracts...

According to me STEEMit lures people in by appealing to human greed and whoever chooses to take the time to actually engage with others and to help build the community with the possibility of investing in something anarchic, fun and decentralized are the ones with the most success.

I'm not sure i'm right i see the gold diggers doing a lot less and getting a lot more and quicker, but I was raised to think long term and life has taught me to avoid shortcuts!

Hopefully we can change society for the better by actually discussing ideas and make them grow nurture them with time and thought.

I've found a few who think like me and i'm having a great time dreaming here.

Do you know what and Agora is ?
