He says that like it's a bad thing.
If 'journalists' (spit) would do their damn JOB..and quit trying to direct public opinion he might have a point. They made their bed...now they can sleep in it.

They need to clean up their act.
Last person to go after the media as hard as Trump has is Nixon (who I believe has gotten a worse-than-deserved reputation)...but the media has never gone after a president as hard as they've gone against Trump. What interest does he possibly have in protecting them if push came to shove?
IMO, he would, though, just like he did for the NCAA players in China...they did nothing but shit on him for expending his political capital to save their sorry hides.
Most people can see through this kind of shit, luckily, and it just galvanizes support for Trump. No one stands a chance in 2020 against him as far as I can see.
I don't agree with the backlash against the Trump tweets. Media is hurting because they can't make a dime on their stories when they are contradicted by a tweet straight from the top. They believe they should have a direct line to Trump, so they can profit first on the news before he says anything publicly. By the way, do you @everittdmickey allow people to contact you for possible story articles? I try to keep my steemit feed clear of controversial subjects and politics, but I am glad there are people like you who are brave enough to share news here.
