Dinosaurs Killed by Giant Asteroid Impact?

in #dinosaurs7 years ago (edited)

First question: Did dinosaurs really exist? According to "science" dinosaurs dominated the earth for over 150 million years then went extinct 66 million years ago because an asteroid hit the earth and wiped them out. Conveniently, many other life forms seem to have survived. Why did dinosaurs die off and not the rest of life on earth?

Second question: Okay, shouldn't humans have been tripping over dinosaur bones for thousands of years if there are 150 million years worth of dinosaur bones? According to a Scholastic.com article dinosaurs only came to exist in 1841 when...

"...large teeth discovered in England by Mary Ann Mantell and her husband, Gideon, were thought to be the remains of a huge and extinct iguana. It wasn't until 1841 that British scientist Richard Owen came to realize that such fossils were distinct from the teeth or bones of any living creature...So Owen dubbed the group "Dinosauria," which means "terrible lizards."

The article goes on to mention that two "scientist" in the late 1800's suddenly uncovered 136 new species where none had been found for thousands of years. Wow, talk about lucky!

"...two wealthy and competitive American scientists, Othniel Marsh and Edward Cope, raced to excavate fossils in the Rocky Mountain region. In the late 1800's, their separate teams, armed against Native Americans and each other, dug up tons of bones from several sites. All in all, Marsh and Cope's rivalry — known as the Bone Wars — uncovered 136 new species. And their respective fossil displays generated excitement for dinosaurs the world over." - https://www.scholastic.com/teachers/articles/teaching-content/when-was-first-dinosaur-discovered/

Okay, so now we have dinosaurs and now we need a way for them to have died off long ago. Let's see...hmmm...I know, how about a giant cataclysm like an asteroid hitting the earth! Or, how about climate change caused by volcanoes erupting.

What evidence is there that an asteroid impacted the earth 66 or 65 (depends on who tells the story) million years ago?

According to the Planetary Science Institute the soil in the Gulf of Mexico:

"...contains enough soot to correspond to burning down all of the forests of the world. " Wow! That's is one hot fire. I wonder how all the other animals survived?

Or, "...scientists in 1990 identified the crater associated with this material. It is no longer visible on the surface of the Earth, but is buried under sediments. It straddles the coast of Yucatan. It is revealed by mapping the strength of the gravity field over that area,..." https://www.psi.edu/epo/ktimpact/ktimpact.html

What? You can't see a giant asteroid crater but you can measure the gravity field? Let's see, how do you measure a gravity field? It looks like satelites from NASA can do it.Here is a gravity map from NASA.

And, a gravity meter.

Here's a map of the supposed crater area.

Huh, doesn't look much like a crater...but wait! There's a gravity map of the crater area. Looks round like maybe a ball hit it. The only problem is that I could not find anywhere on the internet an explanation on how they got their gravity measurements. They could have just made it up to fit the theory. I will do more research.

How accurate are these gravimeter readings? Here is a quote from the Journal of geodynamics: "The Newtonian attraction of the atmosphere is a major source of noise in precise gravimetric measurements." In other words, barometric pressure changes can have a significant affect on a gravity meter. Maybe all a gravity meter is testing is barometric pressure? And, if you get to calibrate the gravity meter based on barometric asumptions wouldn't it be easy to get the results you want? https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-00594429/document

What really killed the Dinosaurs

Thanks For Share.

Such a great post...

Id lovw ro see id they reslly srill ezcit in big feom somewhere hidden

Gravity they way we are told is a weird thing it takes dark matter and magic particles to make it work , so amazing .
Dino's must have bin ultra light to have existed at those measurements and sizes . Science is so far developed it knows it all . You better pay attention at your local school , they will teach you all ...........

But wait, you could be on to something , it could be all lies to entertain us ;-)

Keep digging friend i think your on to something here .
