Why Radix is a great fit for Developers

So guys today we are talking about the Radix platform and I will be talking about the developers' perspective on two fronts: the simplicity of development and the sustainability of development.

Let’s start with the simplicity of development.

Traditional blockchain is like Ethereum and the rest of them, they require you to learn a system-specific language like a solidity or Vyper in order to develop a smart contract and build decentralized applications and there are errors with it.

Apart from the problem of errors, there is the additional cost of doing things auditing, you have to audit your contracts and you may have to pay guys like Quantstamp, Hacken, OpenZeppelin, Certik, etc.
So that is an extra burden but we are not saying whether you use solidity or not you are required to do audits but languages like solidity are very prone to errors.

Now, with Radix there is the simplicity of the language, languages that you are already familiar with you can start developing using Radix on the Radix engine and that’s the advantage of Radix. So you use existing languages. Then the next thing again is the issue of Radix components and catalogs.

So what I mean is that in the Radix system there are you can literary build just like you have the Python ecosystem for example, and I want to do data science for example and I don’t need to code my own neural network system from the beginning, I don’t need to come and code my own visualization tools from the beginning, I don’t need to code my math computational tool from the beginning. There are already tools. Are you talking about things like seaborn for visualization, we talk about things like matplotlib, we talk about things like pandas we talk about other things like the scikit-learn, tensorflow and the host of other things. Right?

In the same vein, is how they are pushing for the Radix platform, the component, and the catalogue. So when you are coming to build, you say well I need to build X but somebody has already built something to make X easy for me so you just plug it into your system and you continue from there. That is one thing about the Radix platform.

The next thing is sustainability

Sustainability, it is not just enough that you design a platform whether it is useful or not people most of the time are predators especially most of the investors and the rest of them. And that is why many platforms right now are not even selling to ordinary investors why because they don’t have the patience to wait, they buy coins today and they are already asking when is it going to be listed, when is it going moon, etc.

Sustainability is we are not talking about today, two, three years from now, when the tokens have been distributed because you can assign for marketing, the tokens have been distributed and everything has been distributed to everybody what will keep the platform going?

And I was thinking, even, for example, Ethereum right now I heard that the miners make millions of dollars every single day. Now if a certain percent, let's say X percent of it goes to sustainability, grants, marketing, community, events, and the rest of them, the platform will be better.

So you are hearing people like Andre Cronje and the rest the saying we are facing issues because we don’t have money to develop the platform.,to avoid all that if you are a developer and you build a system and definitely, the application you build will use tokens to enable people to access the platform, if you build into the system and say this is called dev royalties which Radix allows you to do.

So let's say your platform has a number of users and it can generate a minimum of, let's be considerate, let's say $10,000 dollars and you say 10 percent of it goes to dev royalties or sustainable development, it means that if we keep this value every single day it means that you are getting a $1,000 dollars every single day and by the end of the year after one year, you are getting $365,000 dollars, now it might not be much but this will save and keep the project going unlike a project that 100% of it goes to the community.

You know most of the time they say everything goes to masternode owners it goes to stakers, we know those stakers you cannot meet them for sustainability development. So when you are building your system Radix allows you to dev royalties. And it's fast, of which we are not going to talk about it in this article. It's fast scalable and the rest of them.
