Das nächste grosse Ding - The next big thing

Ich weiss nicht ob ihr schon von diesem neuen Netzwerk namens MeWe gehört habt. Einige meinen dass es sich hier um das nächste grosse Ding handelt, einen richtigen Facebookkiller oder so. Ich will mich da nicht soweit aus dem Fenster lehnen und mal schauen wie sich die Sache entwickelt.
Als erstes habe ich mir mal einen Acount bei MeWe angelegt um mal alles zu testen. Wenn du dich mit mir vernetzen willst kannst du dies hier mit diesem Link machen.
Auffallend ist die übersichtlich aufgeräumte Home Seite wo man alle Funktionen sofort findet. Werbung sucht man vergebens und die hochgeladenen Daten gehören wirklich dir und du kannst sie jederzeit ganz einfach wieder herunterladen. Jeder Nutzer erhält gratis acht Gigabyte Speicherplatz, und wenn der nicht reicht kann man ihn kostenpflichtig erweitern, was aber nicht die Welt kostet.
MeWe hat einen bekannten Patenonkel und der ist kein geringerer als der Erfinder des Internets wie wir es kennen, nähmlich Sir Tim Berners-Lee, er hat sich auf die Fahne geschrieben das Internet zu retten mit seinem Projekt Solid welches die Privatsphäre und Hoheit über unsere Daten wieder herstellen soll. Ich bin guter Hoffnung dass dies gelingen kann.

I don't know if you've heard of this new network called MeWe yet. Some people think this is the next big thing, a real Facebook killer or something. I don't want to lean out of the window and see how things develop.

The clearly arranged home page where you can find all functions immediately is striking. You search for advertising in vain and the uploaded data really belong to you and you can easily download it again at any time. Each user gets eight gigabytes of storage free of charge, and if that's not enough you can expand it for a fee, but that doesn't cost the world.
MeWe has a well known godfather and he is none other than the inventor of the internet as we know it, namely Sir Tim Berners Lee, he has pledged to save the internet with his project Solid which should restore privacy and sovereignty over our data. I am hopeful that this can succeed.
