Gus Dapperton was born on May 17 1997 in New York. He is a singer and songwriter. He grew up listening to The Beatles​, Bruce Springsteen​ and the Beach Boys. In high school he was into 60s Rock and 1980s nuwave. He collaborated with other artists around new york, and developed his own style. His carrer started growing with the song "Moodna, once with grace".

In may 2017 he released "I'm Just Snacking" and this song instantly blew up after a few months beeing on youtube.

In der High School hörte er 60er Rock und in den 1980ern Nuwave. Er arbeitete mit anderen Künstlern in New York zusammen und entwickelte seinen eigenen Stil. Seine Karriere begann mit dem Lied "Moodna, once with grace" zu wachsen.

Im Mai 2017 veröffentlichte Gus seinen Song "I'm Just Snacking" auf Youtube, welcher durch die Decke schoss.
