@portalvotes versucht seine Votes möglichst breit über die Community zu verteilen. Daher bekommt jeder Autor maximal nur einen Vote pro Woche. Diese Beschränkung führt dazu, dass jede Woche bis zu 60 verschiedene Autoren einen Vote erhalten.
Wenn es nicht möglich ist, einen Vote an einen neuen Post zu vergeben, geht der Vote an Charityorganisationen. Die erste Regel gilt an dieser Stelle nicht mehr. Die Liste für diesen Fall enthält bisher @nosdos, @cleanplanet, @driveforkids, @treeplanter und @steemarity.
