Magnesium helps with depression

Magnesium is critical for brain health in general and depression in particular. Most Americans are deficient in this nutrient, at least in part explaining the rise of depression, anxiety, and sleep problems. Magnesium is needed for the nervous system as well, as it helps with fitness and energy levels.

Modern medical paradigms call for immediate drugging of the patient, usually for a very long time, longer than the antidepressant was even monitored in studies. Drugs are rarely tested over periods longer than 1-2 years and sometimes much shorter. This is not a viable solution even according to the very scientific cult that inflames the situation by promoting said drugs through massive propaganda...

Vitamins, minerals, water, exercise, breathing. I would say those are the keys to health, mentally and physically. This is rarely promoted in the psychiatric industry, where it seems most of these play second fiddle to drugs and therapy.

One of the most egregious aspects of this depression epidemic is that it obeys a cardinal rule in the negative aspects of the health matrix. It creates dependence and isolation. Healing always comes from within, wihich can be a hard pill to swallow...but any relevant mental health expert should be encouraging as much mental work, stress reduction practices and of course good nutrition!

Here's a great article on the benefits of magnesium!
