In fairness, they were outvoted by other Democrats... but also the quotes given in this article are far from the worst ones.

For instance, this from LA city councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson: “When somebody gets something stolen, the city should be doing everything we can to make sure they’re made whole — not to punish another person.”

Democrats, please start calling out your own party for garbage like this.
