Poor Mark Zuckerberg. It would appear his world has come crashing down after seeing $9 Billion dollars wiped off of his personal wealth over the last couple of days due to the leak confirming what we already knew: Facebook makes its users the product and sells their information on to Corporations so that they can be targeted with advertising as well as having microphones switched on and recording their conversations. It's been a a long time coming but is the general public's love affair with Facebook finally starting to wane and hit the buffer's? We can only hope so. Facebook has masked itself as a force for good over the years and people have really fallen into the trap, disclosing large amounts of their personal data for free. If there is one positive to come out of this, it has helped to awaken the populace to the fact that Facebook is not a force for good and is in fact a corrupt and immoral entity getting rich off of the back of others hard work. This can only be good for cryptocurrency because it highlights the need for personal data storage being held on decentralised blockchains so that the user can decide which information he or she wishes to be made available, depending on what type of service they require. A financial crash is coming and I would say having your money in crypto is possibly the safest place to store it right now because when the runs' on bank's start happening and stocks crash, your crypto wealth cannot be confiscated. This means that soon I believe we will enter a long bull run in the crypto market. The crash when it comes is not going to be pretty, but something tells me, Mark Zuckerberg is not quite a charity case just yet!
