WIll Dapps Like @dclick Help Increase STEEM Price?

In this looooong slump in all cryptocurrency market, all eyes are on any clue that can put some upward thrust on prices. Most market watcher keep their eyes only on the big brother Bitcoin. However, here on Steem platform, we are more interested in STEEM than anything else.

Recently advertisement platform @dclick came out of its alpha and launched its Beta version for all.

dClick can be projected as Adsense alternative for Steemians. Although it needs to do a lot to catch up with feature rich Google Adsense; it's a good beginning for now. dClick defines itself as a "Proof of Click" incentivized ad platform.

Content Creators:

Using DCLICK platform, Creators can include an advertisement in their contents and receive the rewards based on content click.

Advertisers:

The Advertisers can promote their own content in DCLICK as well with almost no charge. Isn't it surprising?

Well, according to DCLICK, "advertisers can promote with almost free of charge because of Token Economy."

However advertisers need to invest in STEEM for advertising their content. Although advertising module is yet to start, DCLICK website tells advertisers to pay required expenses through STEEM or FIAT Money. FIAT Money will be automatically exchanged to STEEM internally. The advertisement registered in the post will be exposed until it reaches the goal. And once the advertisement reaches the goal, you receive payback of advertisement fees.

DCLICK is introducing its own token called DCLICK
DCLICK coins earned will be exchanged to SMTs as and when implemented. Before SMTs, in case you want to encash DCLICK coins, you can use them for upvoting your posts.

Unlike Adsense, DCLICK has only CTC advertising option and no CPM at the moment. For inserting advertisement, presently you need to publish post using their own platform. But they say that they will give an API after which you can copy-paste the code anywhere on your blog (just like Adsense code) and thus you will be able to use DCLICK ad network publishing from any platform. That would be more practical to use for most of us.

Currently, content publishers have no option to choose which advertisements will be displayed on their blog and which won't. But they are planning to introduce a category option soon.

I think inflow of investment by advertisers is the single most decisive factor in the price of STEEM. And if content publisher get additional revenue sources, STEEM is going to be more valuable blockchain as a whole. It's a good sign that advertisers will need to invest in STEEM for putting their advertisements in the Steem network.

However I don't know how and why advertiser are being paid back their advertising fee on reaching of their advertising goal!

Anyway, I'm just exploring this platform now and this is my first post using @dclick platform. However I don't expect any paid advertisements on the bottom of this blog post. This is just for fun and testing purpose only.

If I find it all good, I'm thinking to delegate some of my SP to @dlike next week.
