Taller people are more likely to have diseases
One study claims that the risk of having long-term cancer is high, because the cells are more in their body. Researchers at the University of California, Riverside, examined more than one million people in the United States, Europe and South Korea. The same results were found in various past research.
Researchers Leonard Noon and his colleagues observed that if women are 10 centimeters or 4 inches taller than normal or average height, cancer may be 13 percent for men and 11 percent more for men.
Professor Noon said that the risk of having a basketball player of 7 feet longer than a normal 5-feet tall person is almost twice the risk of cancer.
There is no way to reduce the risk of cancer due to being taller. Your height can not be reduced! But should be aware of this risk.It is not a matter of fact that long due to hereditary reasons or good diet. If the body is taller, then the number of cells increases, that is why the risk of cancer increases. So it is more important to have cancer tests if you are taller than usual.
Melanoma (one kind of skin cancer) is seen among tall people. Because their skin size is even more. Some types of animals such as elephants and giraffe have a resistance against such type of cancer, but it is not in the human body. If you are taller than usual, be careful about cancer, keep weight in control and avoid smoking.
