Dash Survived Due to Bitcoin Scaling Fight
If there wasn't any fighting in the Bitcoin world, Dash might be languishing as a third alternative besides Litecoin. So with the scaling, Segwit, block size, wars - Dash thrived!
Look at their scaling. It's a cohesive distributed autonomous organisational democratic system. Master nodes ie stake holders with real large stakes (1000 Dash) can vote, decide together.
