That's fine with me, as long as Steem's only purpose is not to promote Steem.
It doesn't matter what its purpose is, if we can't get people to pay attention to this platform then it will slowly die, become unprofitable.

We really are only interested in technologies that empower individuals to continue the struggle of weakening the grip of hierarchical power structures that suppress natural human life. Dash is probably set up to make a few people quite wealthy and for some that may be great. After our budget proposal where they chose to burn available DASH than support a decentralized solution to solve real world problems, it became clear the direction the few who control that platform want to go.

On paper it looks like the system is perfect, but one has to make a very big assumption that Dash is decentralized. Without decentralization none of the other amazing marketing and spin produced by Dash matters. With 1.9 million DASH collected in the first couple of days of the launch (So assumed they have 75% of the MN network and reward, plus their large mining), and then the DASH core (or projects approved by core) receiving 95+% of the remaining created DASH since the beginning.
In the end what do you get? Dash Corp, beautiful office and all the hierarchical trimmings to make any company man feel warm and comfy. Regulators you will love it too, they have all the tools to make your centralization of enslavement a breeze. The price of Dash is sure to go to the moon, so take advantage of the idiot idealists who are now sell their Dash purely on principle.
