It's HDR. Edited in Photomatix. I particularly enjoy this style and have been shooting it for years. Reminds me of the old days, before I had kids and I could 'dabble' a bit ;)

it's interesting to see the response from people when you really look them in the eye.
Whoever said they are the window to the soul wasn't wrong.
When I was a teacher I used to read articles with the kids about influence and one of them was about eye contact, the trick is to look just long enough to determine someone's eye color.
A great lesson! I will remember this for the kids. Thanks :)
I like to do it to cashiers and waitresses.
