Walters red fur and possible water cat?
Its pretty obvious hes mostly tuxedo cat, but something else seems to be in him as well.
There are other characteristics about him that makes us wonder, for example he is not deterred by being sprayed with water. We keep a spray bottle close to us if the animals are trying to do something bad. And works well for Tesla but Walter you need to basically soak him to get him to stop.
And his fur is a very silky smooth feel to it, and water is repelled very nicely to his advantage. Unlike the matted fur Tesla has which she is a Russian Blue.
So it would seem Walter is part "water cat" I want to bring a little pool in and see if he will naturally go in there and play with the water..
Well one thing I know for sure, is he loves Luci. They are real buddies.

My cat is water cat, since the very beginning she get used to be washed. She is jumping in the bathtub willingly and plays with the water.

Oh nice, that must have been quite the site. Seeing cats in the wild swim and go hunting in water makes me think some may be totally okay with it.
I had a post how my cat loves water some three months ago. I think it would be better with video clip. So, wait and see. 😉
I had a 12 week old cat that was very outgoing from the start. Almost totally fearless but extremely friendly to all. He jumped in the toilet being new to him but just sat there. I had to take him out. Also jumped in the shower with me.

Hah wow I guess some cats really are truly water cats. He has not tried to go into the shower but maybe one day that will happen.
