RE: Steem Strong Hands Curation Trail: Incentivizing Steem Hodling

in #curationtrail6 years ago

They work for some people who are busy and can't consume lots of steem content daily but still want some curation rewards. We encourage the followers of the trail i manage to take a break and vote manually as much they like if that is what they want. I believe encouraging the curation of content and of people who are doing things for steem will improve the platform by keeping the talent in house vs it leaving us for other options. Not all trails are made equally that is for sure.

Sort:

For sure, but my vote value is small, so the trail will probably not benefit me except for showing support to my peeps.

It's also a bit of an antithesis to what I do with @steemflagrewards. I need the VP for flags. lol

Well if you consider supporting minnows as benefiting you. Because they are the hardest promoters and fill the largest % of people on steem, Yes it would benefit you in the long run, Just not directly. As steemit flag rewards doesn't directly benefit you as well. but it helps the platform with keeping human eyes lableing and countering bad action. For users with low SP i would not think of it as a good idea if you already manually use VP for a good purpose. It's for people who want to automate votes while they are busy with other tasks. Specially our trail is to help support creators in the dtube and steem ecosystem. If you are looking for an ROI it's not going to be direct you are better off renting to minnow booster or delegating to a bidbot. although arguably those could do harm the investment optics of steem make prices suffer severely from that selection of direct ROI vs Indirect roi.
