Hi, I’m Simgirl. I love to look through blogs and find stories I would normally not find. I am a moderator for the Steemit Music Alliance. (SMA) A few of the leaders of SMA also use The Daily Sneak to promote posts they find along the way. You may have seen them from time to time. Today I was trying to organize the roles a little bit, so I went from one member to the next looking for any indication of what they did creatively. I found some serious talent among the Steemit blogs that I visited. A few of them were so good, I wanted to make another Daily Sneak submission, so I could share these and other posts I’ve read this week with you all too!

Freewrite ""The Shimmer"" - Ski Part 4 - Simgirl Saves the Day

I don’t only love this post because @deaconlee creates a story in which I am the hero; making me sound so very cool, I also like the way he tells the story. For those who have not been introduced to the Freewriters of Steemit, they are quite the creative bunch, and they continue each other’s stories for fun. And, of course they do it to amuse and impress us with their witty and dynamic writing skills. Most of the freewriters are only starting on Steemit, so most of these freewrites are undiscovered gems. The community around the freewriters is one of inclusion, and the prompts are given daily. You can follow the #freewrite tag to find hundreds of freewrites to read each day.

Carl's Night Out~

This was one of the posts this week that made me smile. Carl is a favorite of @snook’s because who wouldn’t love a dancing ear of corn? @snook uses a combination of the game Sims 4, and then places Carl in the story that she makes up on the spot. A spontaneous freewrite as it were. Carl tries his best to get the attention of the freewriters living in the Old Steemian Home so that he can share his moonshine. The story is very cute and has an energetic song that plays in the background while Carl dances. I hope this will bring a smile to your face as well.

'SOMEDAY I'LL BE A WHALE' MUSIC VIDEO COLLAB WITH @DRKENT @maneki-neko

This video is pretty impressive. @maneki-neko explains how he collaborated with @drkent to create this breathtaking, and soothing, display of creativity. They take you through a sea of emotion, down to the dark depths of the seas where the whales live and gather. This would be a great meditation song, as the vocals and music are like a sedative. You could put it on a loop to fall asleep. I am so glad I found this while going through the posts this week.

Taking Part In The OK Bah Contest: A Cover Of Broken Bells' The Angel & The Fool

This post by @kaerediem will bring joy to your heart. She explains in the post that her children love to play their instruments, and a while back they rehearsed a song for her birthday, but never had the chance to perform it. The children sing the song beautifully and play their instruments very well. You can tell that they had so much fun making this video. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

2. All articles chosen for curation need to have been published within the last 5 days before your entry. It may take time for me to publish your curation, and curated articles need to be within the reward window when your submission is published.
3. You cannot submit your own post for curation. Selections from nsfw will not be accepted.
4. Selected posts should have less than $50 in total rewards and have not previously been curated by The Daily Sneak.
5. We try to spread the love around, so while selections from authors that have been highlighted before are welcome, they might not be included if the author's last inclusion was recent. Similarly, if you include two articles from the same author in one submission, we will typically highlight only one of the two.
6. Be sure to include your personal bio for me to introduce you to readers, and make sure that each selection has commentary. This can be just a few sentences about why you think the selection is worth our attention, or what is great about it - something that will make people want to click through the headline and check out the actual article. English is preferred, but other languages will be considered as long as English translation is included.

8. Including image links to the source article is not required (and we prefer to leave some mystery if photography is highlighted and the article has only one photo.) However, we like to include images in The Daily Sneak, and not including any image links may decrease the likelihood of your submissions being published.

If you include more than 2 articles in your submission and not all are approved for publication, your submission may still be published into an edition of The Daily Sneak, as long as at least 2 articles are approved. This could happen for several different reasons. If you are unsure why an article was cut, please review the submission guidelines again. If you are still unsure, feel free to ask politely why it was cut.

Submission Reward

A brief biography of each guest curator will be included in the edition that uses their submission. In addition, each guest curator will receive 1 SBD for each article from their submission that is highlighted in The Daily Sneak. That's up to 5 SBD for each accepted submission!

Right now @sneakyninja's upvote is not worth as much as we are paying for guest curation. Why do we pay so much for guest curation? We believe that quality curation is very important to Steem. Paying our curators well encourages them to spend more time reviewing content and picking out the best pieces!
