Imagine what a world without the internet will be like? There wouldn’t be social networks for us to connect with the world, no Google to search and look for everything we need, no YouTube, basically no nothing. Internet is everywhere around us, and life today is unimaginable without it. Moving forward, Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming a universally accepted device-connection mechanism. As we already have smartphones, smart cars and lately even smart homes, it is safe to say that the world is moving to a smart era. IOT is the network that connects all of the devices to exchange their data.
These devices, combined together, has the power to collect useful data, which will then flow between all the other devices. Today we will be reviewing the project coming from https://nucleus.vision/.
Founded at University of Harvard, project Nucleus is introducing an IoT identification system. Combining blockchain technology with mentioned IoT into a platform for the retailers and other similar businesses.
Building the worlds largest loyalty program will help the retailers to get a view on customers behaviour, such as keep tracking their visits, their interests on products and so on, with a goal to create a perfect customer experience.
IoT sensors are collecting data, and helping the retailers to send different personalized offers to each customer. Project is already in a testing phase, with more than 10 stores that joined to the project.
Project is built on Ethereum network, granting the decentralized and transparent system, including all of the useful blockchain features.
