PRESIDENTE SEC: ICOs PUEDEN SER EFECTIVAS PERO HAY QUE RESPETAR LA LEY
Mucho sabemos los que estamos hace un tiempo de lo que han significado las ICOs y las consecuencias no tan buenas de empresarios inexpertos o directamente de aquellos que trataron de aprovecharse de la situación de que no estaban reguladas para estafar a los inversores.
Este pasado 6 de diciembre el Presidente de la SEC, Jay Clayton, se ha expresado al respecto y ha dicho que para que esto no ocurra las ICOs se deben ajustar a las leyes de valores.
Ha manifestado que la SEC se ha ocupado e invertido mucho tiempo en el análisis de las mismas y que espera que en el 2019 también sigan trabajando en el tema.
Recientemente se ha creado el FinHub, para que se facilite la participación de la SEC en Fintech, e intenta por este medio que las nuevas empresas tecnológicas puedan cumplir con las regulaciones que impone la ley.
