Smartphones based upon decentralized blockchain technology soon to be released!

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

If this is true, this is huge! I have no reason to doubt that it's being attempted because ideas like this are coming up all over in the cryptocurrency space. I would think that the underlying technology would run on a smart contract model like Ethereum, EOS or Iota, not Bitcoin itself.

The question is will authority try to block this in some way? It might seriously hamper efforts by the NSA to spy on conversations around the world. Decentralization technology is likely to hit nearly every aspect of the software industry. Disintermediation makes it really difficult for anyone in authority to take control.

Hi @zoidsoft
I was new in steemit. and I feel like I'm lost in steemit and no one is directing me. please help me find the real identity, and help me get what I have been working for so long. thanks for your attention.

@chandrayunita - Looks like you're already doing pretty well. One of the things you might consider is investing in Steem and then powering up. That will help with your level of influence. Also if Steem goes up to the same price as bitcoin, you will be very rich. That would probably require some level of Steemit approaching FB in terms of popularity, but it is definitely possible. Then author posts, comment and upvote. It takes time. I have a little bit of an advantage because I've been studying the underlying technology (See Andreas Antonopoulos Mastering Bitcoin).

Hey zoidsoft, is there a way to store steem in a hardware wallet like trezor?

No. Looks like Steem (if you want it to work for you) has to be committed as Steem Power anyway. I think there's a way to do a paper wallet. Also Bitshares and Bitfinex can be used to convert Steem.

I would use the Bitshares light wallet that's downloaded to your computer since that's a decentralized exchange.

Thanks Curtiss - just learning. Found out yesterday that a colleague managed to parlay $30K into $150K since last fall. Wish I had $30K! ;-)

People will need to buy SRN tokens from the company who's manufacturing the phone in order to buy the phone. If the ICO for SRN doesn't do well they won't produce the phone. This should be interesting because it's using IOTA to power the network. I'm a big fan of IOTA and how it will change blockchain technology when it is more widely adopted.

This would be a really cool innovation! I'm in! 😀

wait, who is working on this, ICO, coins?

Wish I knew. I just stumbled upon this on youtube.

I wish they produce phones after their ICO pre-sale ends. Good luck!

Amazing I want one, and my contract runs out spring 2018 perfect :)

It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Thanks for sharing.
