Earlier this year I was very happy to see my 8 LTC jump from $3.5 to $30+ ! I sold at $31.50, making it a pretty good investment. I never thought it'd go all the way up to $50...! Wish I had held.
Still, I think it's a risky investment. The main reason for LTC's boom right now is because of Segwit. Once BTC gets that, what's to say LTC won't drop immensely as a result?

hopefully it wont because i am about to start mining litecoin. litecoin is on coinbase as well so its widely available to millions of people.
