Always Double, Triple Check That Address When Transferring Funds!
Don't be like me. Don't accidentally send BitcoinCash to a Litecoin address.
Don't try to send STEEM to SBD (Steem Dollars) addresses, STEEM can only go to STEEM addresses, and it's the same with any coin.
Don't be like me. Double check to make sure that the address that is copied is the right address FOR THE RIGHT COIN.
This has been a public service announcement, please be careful with your hard-earned coins during transfers-- check, and re-check, and then check again!

I felt my face turning red when I realized what I had done, just the simplest little mistake.
I almost did that mistak, by sending bitcoin to litecoin, it was not easy. I should really double check before sending any cryptocurrency, because once you send thats the end lol. Nice post

I made a mistake in a transfer by putting the wrong address in, rahul.stan knows that if the address isn't right, the coins are gone forever! I will be ok, it hasn't ruined me! I wanted to share so that others would be careful. Thanks for your concern.
This had happened to many people I know but I have always been careful.
I have always been careful too, until today, one tiny mistake, and I knew what I'd done instantly. I won't do it again!
Was it a wrong memo or a wrong address? Some exchanges may refund you if it was a wrong memo.

It's the first time I had made that mistake, and will be the last! I got over it quickly, it wasn't a gigantic sum.

Indeed, those are two different coins, STEEM and Steem Dollars, a tutorial or two is a good plan!
