Mining Electroneum on a Mac OSX CPU

For some reason it has become increasingly difficult to mine Electroneum on a CPU on Mac OSX. For the pool I chose http://us-etn-stats.hashparty.io/ and I went into their getting started section and tried to install all the software listed there.

I got none of these to work with the combination of Mac OSX/CPU. I tried xmr-stak-cpu, minerd, yam everything on that list. Sometimes the links are broken, sometimes the stuff won't compile if compiled from a source on OSX (everything compiles on Linux though). So I finally downloaded xmrig-2.4.0 from https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig/releases/tag/v2.4.0 and just used the command

$ ./xmrig -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://us-etn-pool.hashparty.io:5555 -u etnk18LBRAtb1QCqwUvbX9aecg1nFHf4oasjC7QwxWGhhuncpADmvV8PJSJ7U6QLktgaB8NRBBPxQ4a4aQkwzzEa9kU3hfXzu5 -p x

and it works like a charm!
