Bitcoin - It's Alive! (and the whole crypto market finally catches a bid)

Some of the alts started to catch a bid higher yesterday, but bitcoin languished - then it suddenly joined the party and it set the alt's ablaze!

Go Alts Go!

STEEM, EOS, ETH have had quite the moves over the past 24 hours or so. In the end though, the lead dog still needs to go higher for there to be sustained moves in the crypto market as a whole.

Yes, the bearing of BTC on the entire market may be wearing thinner and thinner, but it's still potent enough that I will pay attention!

In the video below I touch on BTC (and sort of laugh at how we went to exactly where I said we'd likely go, testing the underside of the long-term uptrend line.)

Also take a quick look at the ETH chart too.

Ethereum has been a monster this week.

Thank you so much for sharing,

Thank you for you information, greetings from Venezuela, i'm new here and i hope you support!!!

Do you ever look at charts like EOS/STEEM?

or SBD/ETH?
BITTREX:SBDBTC/BITTREX:ETHBTC <- put this into trading view

I can understand the charts in dollars, and somewhat in btc.
But when i look at trading one coin for another coin the familiar chart patterns aren't there. However, the trend becomes really obvious.

No, not really. In fact I don't even like when I have to trade against BTC. Which is why I tend to stick to coins that have USDT option like ETH, LTC, NEO and so on. It's just easier to run number in my head quickly in terms of dollars, gains and losses.

Great call and nice analysis. The Bitcoin buyers took out the sellers at $8000, next battle for the buyers will be against the sellers at $8500.

The 8k battle isn't exactly won quite yet, but then again I suppose it depends on what exchange one looks on. I'm wondering if we are gonna fail here now that BTC is hitting it's head on trendline it failed at.

I don't see any more sell orders at $8k. Most break out retrace, so the floor is $7k. Price also has to overcome the daily trendline. However, the momentum is on the side of the buyers at the moment and RSI is heading upwards...we shall see.

Nice to see some positive movement and with warm weather coming to the northeast to boot. Steem on

It's always uplifting to look at the charts and see a sea of lovely green. :)
