IOTA will be available in Apple Pay and Samsung Pay

The Zeux payment and banking application team has teamed up with the IOTA Foundation to create a system that allows customers to use IOTA tokens as a means of payment at outlets accepting Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.
This is achieved through a virtual card, which is created by the Zeux application, with a built-in mechanism for converting various currencies and made possible by the permission of the UK Financial Regulator (FCA).

The launch of the application will take place next month, but only for residents of the EU with plans to enter the US market in 2020.

“This partnership with Zeux will provide significant convenience to the IOTA ecosystem. We are very happy about it. Now IOTA digital currency can be used as a means of payment where they accept Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. The combination of existing technologies with a different form of currency is a big step towards accepting crypto around the world, ”says David Sonstebo, founder and co-chairman of the IOTA foundation.

Thus, IOTA became the second coin supported by the application and last week the Zeux team announced a partnership with QTUM.
