ARK Airdrop: Phantom Zinc Claim
Hey everyone. If you read my earlier posts, you would see that I mentioned an upcoming airdrop for all Ark holders. Phantom will be issuing a 3:1 airdrop to all Ark holders. A balance picture will be taken August 30th, 2018. The airdropped token is called Zinc XNC. There is no time period to claim your XNC after the snapshot, so there is no rush. The process is listed in the link below. It will give you a step by step tutorial. It is very easy to do and should only take a few minutes.

The idea behind this method for the airdrop is that you are using your public address from your own personal wallet. You want to be sure that you are not using a third party wallet and that you are not giving out your private keys to anyone claiming to help you. This is how scammers can steal your coins and tokens. Use your own wallet only and make sure to add your public address. Do not store you private key on the Internet when hackers can steal it.
With this method you will essentially be creating a new network on your existing Ark wallet. It is the Phantom network. It will import the information from your Ark account to link it so that they can take a picture of your balance and credit your XNC in the future when they are distributed. This is a safe method to use because you are using your own personal wallet. You are not downloading any third party wallets or giving out your information on the Internet. After August 30th you can click on this link to see how many XNC you will get airdropped when they distribute. XNC's tentative network going live is September 20th.

You too! Been holding Ark since around April/May of last year. Great community and looking forward to see its tech shine. Very under the radar at the moment, but I have a feeling when things turn around in this market, Ark will do very well. Good luck!

I did it with my desktop wallet and it was very easy to do. Just follow the guide step by step. You can also link your desktop wallet with the Ark mobile wallet, so you can check on your Ark whenever you have your phone.
Yeah i just did it a few mins ago. If i've imported my account now I don't have to do anything tomorrow right (snapshot)?
You are done. Snapshot on Aug 30th, but you won't receive your XNC until around the end of September. Just a waiting game at this point
