RE: Why most of the Cryptocurrencies Will Fall to $ 0 (English/German)

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Yes, finally a new perspective among all the hype ;)

I agree that most coins will drop to a level corresponding to their actual value when the hype is over, lots of them dropping to zero would be sad but hilarious to watch. And Steem has some of the best chances to withstand the fallout and the time after a catastrophic plunge of the crypto market.

However, with lots of research I see an avenue to increase the value of my investment by using some coins as an "elevator of value". It is tricky and never certain, but if one manages to find a coin that's about to explode (a project with a good actual value behind it, not a garbage coin) then one could ride that increase in value to a reasonable point, exit completely and put everything into steem.

It could be a risky strategy but not as risky as putting everything into some shady altcoin hoping for some miracle. The question is not "will steem go up in value". The question is "when will it go up in value?"

If you think we have a few more weeks or months, might as well invest into other projects before pumping it back into longterm steem holdings.

If we had reason to believe that steem is going up significantly any time soon, we would best put as much into steem while we can still afford to do so.

Thank you for your great comment.
I can agree on your points.
There are different strategies possible.
What the best is we will see later :P

On bad days I tend to remind myself how early we all are ;) Helps with the stress I make myself trying to power up as quickly as I can efficiently <3
