TRON (TRX) price is skyrocketing and finally getting attention!
Hey Steemians! Maybe some of you know already know the currency Tron (TRX). For all of you that don't know it, this post is a small introduction.
First of all, what is TRX?
TRON is a blockchain-based decentralized protocol that aims to construct a worldwide free content entertainment system with the blockchain and distributed storage technology. The protocol allows each user to freely publish, store and own data, and in the decentralized autonomous form, decides the distribution, subscription and push of contents and enables content creators by releasing, circulating and dealing with digital assets, thus forming a decentralized content entertainment ecosystem.

So why do I do this post?
I discovered TRON about two months ago, when the price of one TRON was about 0.002$. I decided to invest some money and bought ~140,000 TRX. I saw a real value in the currency and didn't understand why the price is so low.
So after holding it now for two months, the price is skyricketing in the last days. It rose to 0.019887$ recently. Wow, that's a plus of 890% since the beginning of december. It is now rank 20 on CMC!
You might ask what the actual value of TRON is. Well, first of all the people behind TRON are people that worked for many companies, so I have the believe that they are competent.
And there are many options how TRON could be used. To quote the whitepaper.
- A High-quality content platform (For example like Steem)
- Social network that provides a link among all people
- Digital currency as a bridge
- Payment network; and
- Autonomous ecosystem (Like IOTA)
These are only some examples of usecases. As noticed before the Peiwo App with over 10 million users will become the first TRON-compatible entertainment APP. And that's just the beginning.
Well that was my opinion on TRON.
The currency is pretty new, so I think it still is worth to invest in. But if you're going to, invest only what you can afford to loose!
