Bitshares and Steem have 3 x speed of sound.

And EOS will go for rocketspeed in 2018, how's that for cheap and fast transactions.

Bitcoin China, BCH, debunked.

Let me compare the Proof Of Work blockchain Cryptos first, in speed and costs. Bitcoin BTC is slow, like a turtle, but a very expensive one. Because a high value needs to be secured I am okay with a few USD in costs per transaction. Very well suited for storing high value. There are developements, part of SegWit, that could change this in the near future in scaling and cheaper transactions.

Then there is the China miners forking Bitcoin blockchain clone Bcash, BCH. A combined product by two Chinese Bitcoin mining aimed companies Bitmain and ViaBTC. Looks mainly like a short term thinking miner putsch. Compared to the original Bitcoin it has the speed of an expensive bicycle. Yes, expensive, even though the claim is that it is supposed to be cheap, it is only relative cheaper than Bitcoin.

Just bigger blocks and it looted value out of the BTC blockchain, by cloning its almost 17 million mined cryptos. With a few mining hustling tricks that I strongly suspect mainly Bitmain could pull off, as they could easily put a 100 S9 antminers aside. BCH is still far too expensive. And some looted BTC value can constantly be used to pump the fake Bcash marketvalue. And then the attitude to attack and destroy the original Bitcoin added to that makes the dark image complete for me.

DOGE is really cheap!

The real cheap alternative to Bitcoin is Doge. The peoples crypto, if there is even one to wear that title then it is Dogecoin. Much cheap, wow fast, 1 DOGE per transaction. Only about 0.0013 USD currently. It started with its own genesis block and has a unique blockchain. It showed guts and got the glory. Ideal for day-2-day usage. Same bicycle speed as Bcash, but a 1000 times cheaper in transaction costs! It is widely supported and can be easily exchanged.

But in speed and low costs Dogecoin loses big time to Cryptos like Bitshares and Steem. Not Proof Of Work, but DPOS, Delegated Proof Of Stake. And those blockchains do a block every 3 seconds. Compare this to Bitcoin, one block every 10 minutes. And Dogecoin does one per minute. Still 20 times slower than Steem and Bitshares. Yet Dogecoin needs no registration and should give Bcash a run for its money!

Waves claims to be the fastest!?

Well, its blockchain had a testdrive of a 100 transactions per second. That is car speed compared to Bitcoin and Dogecoin. But fastest blockchain? No that is untrue, it depends on what it gets compared to. It is a hustler trick that Bcash tried, comparing itself to Bitcoin. As if Bitcoin is the only Crypto out there?

Come in please Steem and Bitshares. You want speed? What do you think about 3333 transactions per second, and almost 10000 operations per second? Remember all those ridiculous claims by Bitcoin purists and maximalists that it could replace the financial system? In what quantum universe is 3, 24, 48 or 60 transactions the same as 12675...!?

The only blockchains that make sense getting close to be able to do that are Bitshares and Steem. And EOS might be able to even go towards several tens of thousands of transactions per second in 2018. While it can scale horizontaly. Just it is being worked on for Steem and I guess Bitshares will head into that direction. They might even use EOS code for that, as they are geneticly from the same developement tree.

Cheapest and fastest.

Bitshares, BTS, is currently cheaper than Dogecoin, DOGE, per transaction. But Bitshares does about three times the speed of sound. That is like a triple BOOM, compared to the bicycle speed of Dogecoin. Added bonus for Bitshares is that a complete decentralized exchange is build on its blockchain. Downside might be considered the need for a blockchain account and using a complex set of keys.

Even cheaper, while being as fast as Bitshares, is Steem. That comes with a generation of value added to its blockchain, known as a Social Media Platform. And for those who think that people their Fruit Of Work, FOW, can not add value to the Steem blockchain? Ask the owners and stockholders of Facebook, FB... No value in posting on a Social Media Platform, right...?

But where FB gets all your FOW, at Steem it is yours to pluck. And I know, because I did recently. It took me more than a year to build, but I can witness that it works. Where other platforms claim they will do someday, Steem already did so starting 18 april 2016. With the first payout on the 4th of july that year. All on a blockchain, and that is simply mindblowing!

Oh yeah and before I forget. Steem is ultra fast, blasting through the sound barrier three time. While others travel on the back of a golden Bitcoin turtle or a speed cyclist DOGE bike or riding the Waves in a car. And Steem is the absolute cheapest! At no transaction fees, yes, free of transaction fee you csn Steem up and about. As low in value as 0.001 Steem. But you need a little Steem Power in stock to be able to store it on the blockchain.

And much more to come...

EOS will have no transaction costs going for several tens of thousands of transactions per second. Still future music though. And Bitshares will add stealth transactions soon, also at 3 times the speed of sound. While Steem will add Smart Media Tokens, at the same speed, adding new ways to earn for your future Fruit Of Work.

Now, for every absurd speed and cheap claim done by other Crypto fans you will know what to really compare it with. The only one that could outpace Bitshares and Steem would be the rocket EOS in 2018. But as it is blockchain family that code could be used to bring Steem and Bitshares to the next level too.
