Tutorial: How to buy and transfer $BTC/$ETH/$BCH/$LTC free of charge with Coinbase/Gdax?

When talking about Coinbase, people generally talk about a very reliable site with exorbitant transaction fees. Yes it is possible to make transactions there for free, and we will see how!

The trick is to use SEPA deposits on Coinbase and then go GDAX to make your transfer for free. For those who wouldn’t know it Coinbase is in a way the user friendly interface of GDAX (hence the higher cost, simplicity has a price…), but it is really one and the same entity !

First of all, you need to create an account on Coinbase (You can win $10 by using a refferal link, tell me if you want mine) and get verified, then follow this step :

Choose the Currency you want :

Put how much you want deposit and your bank (For the first deposit it must be 1€/$ only):

Write the reference number and save it, for all your future deposits, this code will be required.

Take all the informations need to proceed the SEPA and validate. (You can validate even if you will make the SEPA later.)

And that’s all for the Coinbase part. Now let’s go on GDAX.

Just click on sign in and you’ll be auto log on GDAX if you’re still log on Coinbase.

Now we’ll transfer all our €/$ from Coinbase to GDAX.

Then we can buy some $BTC or an other currency

and we will place an order to buy it cheaper.

And now for finish we will send what we just buy to an other address FOR FREE !
