Cryptocurrency Card Program - ADVCash
I open this interesting post to bring some light to the trajectory of Debit card programs (both physical and virtual) with which we could spend our virtual money in real life. Here is a sample of the support response of ADVcash, a typical company that supports this type of transaction (date 19/09/2018), many media include this company within the current options on this type of solutions, when it really is not like that:
"Thank you for contacting Advanced Cash support center.
Unfortunately, we have to let you know that Wave Crest, our current card solution provider, is unilaterally shut down our card program on February 27, 2018. New virtual and plastic cards are no longer issued to any users.
The new card platform is already underway and we are working hard to launch it ASAP. We are doing everything we can to make sure the new card platform is up and running as soon as possible. We are confident within the next few months our customers will be able to use their virtual and plastic cards the way they are used to. We will publish all important updates about our new card program in the News section of your account right away.
We apologise for the inconvenience in this regard."
Are all the companies in the sector in the same situation? I expect your feedback

Aquí hay una muestra de la respuesta de soporte de ADVcash, una compañía típica que admite este tipo de transacción (fecha 19/09/2018), muchos medios de comunicación incluyen a esta empresa dentro de las opciones actuales sobre este tipo de soluciones, cuando realmente no es así:

One option still valid is to use the Revolut services.
The Basic service is free of taxes and gives you an EUR account in an British bank, physical and virtual cards, lot of currencies, some cryptos (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Ripple) and £200 a month free ATM withdrawals.
From what I have been able to find out: Can I receive cryptocurrencies sent to my Revolut account?
You can receive cryptocurrency interests sent by another Revolut user. However, you will not be able to receive cryptocurrencies sent from outside the Revolut platform, p. ex. external portfolios This is something we are working to improve, and we hope it will be available in the future. This is a closed offer through which you can buy, sell, exchange and transfer within the Revolut platform.

@newtechblog why have you used #gridcoin? Is Advcash going to enable payments using Gridcoin?
Because it is the only currency that I have to transfer to this type of services. The first tag is CRYPTOCURRENCY, Second GRIDCOIN. Apologies if you have been led into error.

I think you have a valid question, what would we do with our Gridcoins? At the moment we haven't figured this out yet, at least nothing that I know about. Staking is definitely not the purpose, it is just a means to gain Gridcoin for performed scientific work and interest.
Yes, probably all. For example TenX started to issue cards as well but had to stop for the same reason.
The road between FIAT money and crypto is still blocked, only a few thin, mountain paths exist.
