Also hope all of you are having a good one. In today's Article we'll be discussing m and m and the wrapper or R and b artist or whatever you choose to call him and his new album, kamikaze and no, I'm not going to be pulling an Anthony Fontana and reviewing this album. I will actually be talking about its importance relating to bitcoin and you might be wondering how on earth does this album relate to bitcoin? Well, it's a pretty subtle reference, but in one of the songs, bitcoin is actually referenced and while it may seem like no big deal, pop culture has a huge impact on bitcoin in general, especially in how people perceive it. So before I go ahead and jump right into this and discuss it a bit closer, I remind all of you drop a Upvote on this Article if you like it, Follow and Resteem This Post from war and let's go ahead and take a closer look.

So bitcoin and cryptocurrency, you have taken another step toward mainstream awareness with a mention on us. Rapper eminem's new album, kamikaze assigned that bitcoin is slowly penetrating to different levels of society and out of the financial fintech bubble, it's existed in for the last 10 years in the ninth track on the album not alike, featuring royce into five, nine, and I don't know how exactly to say that. Royce claims, remember everybody used to bite nickel. Now everybody doing their coin, so obviously it Royce da five, nine is here discussing a sort of hustle that people use to grow wealthier over time and people are no longer biting the nickel, so to speak. People are doing bitcoin, they're investing in it, they're putting their savings into it and it's kind of the next big thing. Obviously bitcoin has made many, many people wealthy. Of course, a lot of people have also lost money, especially if they bought in at December when the prices were astronomically higher than they have been ever since.

Bitcoin is really being integrated into pop culture and that is a fantastic thing because public awareness has been a major driver of the bitcoin price, which last year ballooned to almost 20 grand from around $1,000 per coin at the beginning of the year. The bitcoin price has, of course, since fallen back, dragging most other major cryptocurrencies with it and is now trading at around seven grand. Last year. His bull run meant a raft of vic when mentions in film, TV and music as producers both praised and attacked the digital currency that made many overnight millionaires and brought on the ire of the established financial industry. Of course, on the animated cartoon Comedy Family Guy, these shows main character Peter Griffin suggest bitcoin as a solution to the family's financial trouble. In Dope, a 2015 American comedy drama movie, the main character begins selling drugs online using bitcoin and on the Sitcom the Big Bang theory, the gang search for a lost laptop which held bitcoin that Sheldon and his friends purchased seven years earlier.

The mentioned on m and m's album is significant. However, as it suggests not a get rich quick scheme, Norway to sell illicit goods online, but rather something that everybody is doing that it's as common as knowing you bite the metal coin to test its quality. Meanwhile, new research by economists that juice to vendor burked, a policy advisor at the Dutch national bank has found bitcoin price movements aligned very closely with Google searches as awareness of bitcoin and cryptocurrency grows, so does the price, and there's still a lot of room for growth. Vanderburg told CNBC the correlation between Google searches for Bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies price was almost a perfect match until the end of 2017 and vanderbilt said, if the buzz is everywhere, it doesn't matter exactly what the news is about. Nobody wants to miss out and everybody's trying to get a piece of it.

A survey out this week by coinbase and carried out by researchers curiously showed some 18 percent of us students said they own or have owned bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency twice the rate of the general population. And of course, those survey results chime with a paper from researchers at Imperial College, London out in July that said digital currencies are primed for mass adoption. According to the Imperial College paper, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will hit the mainstream as a way of paying for goods and services within the next decade as many of those students surveyed by coinbase become part of the working world. So anyway, folks, it's always interesting to see how pop culture affects bitcoin and it's collective alt coins in their pricing, in their adoption and in the general hype surrounding them. So while I don't necessarily think that this is huge or that'll cause the price to spike overnight, we have seen a pretty decent price rise even over the past day. And while it's probably not caused by kamikaze market, sentiment is definitely improving. So anyway, folks, that is my opinion, as always, only hear all of your opinions down in the comment section below. Let me know what all of your thinking, hope, all of you enjoyed.
